Ed Hochuli 3:16
Granted, it's not exactly right most likely, but Sean Jensen tweeted earlier that the Bears have $16m left to spend. Just throwing that out there.

madlithuanian
I'm assuming that includes the rookies pool...so that gives us about $10M+ to work with FA's... Maybe we can restructure a few deals to open more space... Granted, it's not exactly right most likely, but Sean Jensen tweeted earlier that the Bears have $16m left to spend. I thought before they put a capp on rookie contracts the Bears would put about 5 million away for rookies. now the rookie pool should be less? Bears4Ever_34
Ironically, that's the same number that's been up on the Bears board now from the guy nobody believed. Still hoping for some line help.
AZ54
Does that number include the cap hit for Forte under the franchise tag? If so, I think we're holding out hope for Wimbley or we'd have been more active on the CB market. Anyone know the status of Wimbley? I thought the Raiders had to make a decision by Friday. He's due a $17 million roster bonus over the weekend.
Pixote
He's due a $17 million roster bonus over the weekend. With our luck he will restructure and stay put. I think if he leaves, is cut, that the Bears will jump all over him (along with some other teams) and that that might be why we are in a holding pattern in FA at this point, he would be a great addition to the D. balta1701-A
With our luck he will restructure and stay put. As of earlier this week there had been no contact between the 2 sides, and there were no press reports saying negotiations had started when I checked this morning.
