dawhizz
He's one of the guys that was discussed coming back to the Bears if the Lance Briggs trade with the Redskins had ever been consummated, if I remember right.
balta1701-A
It continues to seem like the Bears have quite a bit more than $3.5 million in cap space remaining.
Pixote
Per Espn - Chicago id like this move very much I think he would give us some excellent depth and insurance in case of injury, heck, he might be a starter in place of Roach who I have never been that impressed with. http://espn.go.com/chicago/nfl/story/_/id/...ars-sources-say
Stinger226
It continues to seem like the Bears have quite a bit more than $3.5 million in cap space remaining. We had 3.5 left and signed the two cbs. I think we have 1.8 left, but with us signing some people, some others will be cut. So if its small contracts those will probably just be washs. He might be better than Roach, but at least is better than the backups.

If they have only $1.8 left, they won't have enough to sign their own draftees. $1.8 other than the draft holds would make sense and leave enough money to sign this guy. DABEARSDABOMB
This would be another solid pickup.
azbearsfan
The 3.5 mil was after the cb's were signed. I would think that any new signings would be potential replacements for current players, making their contracts a wash.
