dawhizz
I think it will be Marshall. Jeffrey, Bennett, Hester, Thomas, and Weems, with Dane gone and one of the UDFAs on the practice squad and Knox on season-long IR or PUP list.
madlithuanian
I'd tend to agree. I think it will be Marshall. Jeffrey, Bennett, Hester, Thomas, and Weems, with Dane gone and one of the UDFAs on the practice squad and Knox on season-long IR or PUP list. WheresMyronBaker
Weems pocketed what looks like a $1.5M bonus. I think he's sticking. It would take a seriously eyeopening camp for any of these guys to bump him. He also signed 3 years of paper...so its not like he is the usual 1 year vet minimum guy. In fact it seems he is likely your new full time KR. Its Devin Thomas and friends on that list who will get to compete for the last spot IMO. (assuming we keep 6) Edit: The 5 locks IMO are Marshall, Jeffrey, Bennet, Weems, Hester Link to the Weems contract info: http://www.spotrac.com/nfl/chicago-bears/eric-weems/

Wesson44
+1 IMHO I think the ones who will be on the roster are in bold!!!! I pick Thomas over Sanzenbacker because he is bigger at 6'2, 221 rather than 5'11, 180 with maybe Crump/Summers on the practice squad, but doesn't Sanzenbacher qualify to be on that practice squad as well? But since we have Weems we can afford to give Knox the year off to recovery from his injury. Bennett, Earl 80 WR 6-0 206 Vanderbilt 5 25 Crump, Terriun *81 WR 6-2 223 Western Illinois R 22 Golden, Brittan *82 WR 5-11 186 West Texas A&M R 23 Hester, Devin 23 WR 5-11 190 Miami 7 29 Jeffery, Alshon * 17 WR 6-3 216 South Carolina R 22 Knox, Johnny 13 WR 6-0 185 Abilene-Christian 4 25 PUP list/maybe IR(depending on recovery) Marshall, Brandon 15 WR 6-4 230 Central Florida 7 28 Sanzenbacher, Dane18 WR 5-11 180 Ohio St. 2 23 Summers, Chris *83 WR 6-5 213 Liberty R 22 Thomas, Devin 11 WR 6-2 221 Michigan State 5 25 Weems, Eric 14 WR/KR 5-9 195 Bethune-Cookman 6

I think his football life is done and after a trial when recovered will be done with football.
