Yeah, Wottoon is toast. He's not any good.

I never viewed Wootton as the type of quick twitch player we need at DE. He seems to fit more of a two gap style defense. I'd love to see him have a good year but I don't have high hopes. Izzy isn't either so I think the best we could expect is for Wootton to display enough to look like a solid 3rd DE for our roster and end up as a replacement for Izzy.

I'd go with either he has a good year or he gets hurt early again and is cut. No inbetween ground any more.

Yeah. He sure has had his share of injury issues. On the bright side, it's been reported that he's FINALLY healthy so maybe we see some good stuff from him this year - if he can stay healthy.
