balta1701-A
So I'm a week ahead on Bears' opponents. Alex Smith was pulled in the first half of San Francisco's game today with concussion-like symptoms. Figure at some point there'll be some questions about his availability for next Sunday as a consequence.
adam
Yeah, this will be something to watch all week. STL played them close all game, and that was with Smith.

balta1701-A
Alex Smith passed his concussion tests and has been cleared to practice and play next Monday.
balta1701-A
In a reversal, Smith will not play tonight, ruled out on continuing concussion symptoms. This was despite him taking most of the first team snaps during the week. Kapernick both starting and having not taken first team snaps seems to send a small advantage back to the Bears. If you're betting on the game, take the under, whatever it is, because points are going to be hard to come by unless the defense does it. OmahaBear
I'm leaving for a trip tomorrow and wasn't going to watch much if the game, thinking we would loose. Now that smith is out, things just got interesting. Now I'm going to be packing at midnight!
