Comcast is reporting the Bears are reaching out to Josh McCown who is still unsigned since they cut him before the season.This might indicate the Bears may be trying to be careful with Cutler since he has suffered multiple concussions in his career and they would be big hippocrates after hosting a press conference on Sunday featuring Otis Wilson, Gary Fencik and Ted Phillips about concussions.

Ugh. It's sickening to think of for multiple reasons, the biggest being that if they actually cared about the marquee player on the team, the most important player on the field, they would have done more to protect him in free agency or the draft. Again, it's the type of short-sighted lack of coaching that has plagued the Bears since, well, forever it seems.
