Mayock top 5 lists

Featured Replies

I rarely question Mike Mayock

Khaseem Greene ahead of Barkevious and Arthur Brown is also interesting. Not saying Greene is bad player, at all, but I've seen Bark going top 10-15 in nearly every draft.

Zeke Mata making the top 5 is surprising as well.

I respect his opinions, and little that I know looks reasonable choices. Travis F. has been getting more acclaim lately, so another OL we can throw in the hopper if we chose to go that rout in the second round.

I have started to align myself with Mayock's thinking for the most part because he and Charles Davis do analysis on college games during the season as opposed to Kiper and McShay who don't do games. The fact that he had a cup of coffee in the league helps his opinion have merit. If I had to pinpoint one spot where he excels at is the defensive backs and that is the position he played but like most scouts and draftniks he misses on some O-Linemen which tends to be the biggest crap shoot.
