I am not sure who they were looking at but suspect it was a OLB Jamie Collins 6'4 250 4.64 40 guy. A 4th or 5th type of pick.

Mayock loves him

Charles Davis as well, has him taken at #24 in his mock. I'd say that's who they're looking at, So. Miss doesn't have any other prospects worth a pick.

24 overall???????

Sounds good to me

Some other interesting players at some pro days:

Terrell Sinkfield, WR (6-foot-1 1/8, 199 pounds) – The prospect out of Northern Iowa showed off his speed this week at the University of Minnesota, clocking in official times of 4.33 seconds, 4.36 and 4.38 in the 40-yard dash. He initially turned heads when he finished with an unofficial time of 4.19, but his official best time would have placed him second among receivers at the NFL Scouting Combine in Indianapolis last month. Sinkfield, who was not invited to the combine, finished with 40 1/2-inch vertical and went 11-5 in the broad jump.

Johnathan Stewart/LB 6-3 7/8, 240) — Stewart ran the 40 in 4.57 and 4.55 seconds, and then stood on the rest of his numbers from the combine (the 40 time was an improvement from the official time of 4.68 he ran in Indy). Stewart’s positional workout was impressive.

Ryan Swope, WR (6 1/4, 203) — Swope — who grabbed a lot of attention for running a 4.34-second 40 in Indy — stood on his numbers from the combine.

Glenn Foster, DL (6-foot-3 5/8, 286 pounds) — Foster ran the 40-yard dash in 4.82 and 4.79 seconds, had a 4.45-second short shuttle and a 7.15-second three-cone drill. He recorded a 39 1/2-inch vertical jump and a 10-foot-9 broad jump. He also had 29 lifts of 225 pounds on the bench press. Foster was not invited to the NFL Scouting Combine. Foster had a fantastic workout, and he would have been the top performer in his position group at the combine in the vertical jump and broad jump. Foster will have a lot of scouts scrambling back to the film room to see why he didn’t have a better draft grade and wasn’t invited to the combine.

Josh Kline, G (6-2 5/8, 307) — Kline ran the 40 in 5.12 and 5.19 seconds. He had a 4.59-second short shuttle and 7.66-second three-cone drill. His vertical was 27 inches and he had a 8-foot-5 broad jump. He performed 25 lifts of 225 pounds on the bench press. Kline — who was not invited to the combine — could be a possible seventh-round pick.

Massive offensive lineman Terren Jones stood out during the workout, held on field turf outdoors.

Jones (6-foot-7 5/8, 341 pounds) ran the 40 in 5.59 and 5.50 seconds, had a 24-inch vertical jump and 8-foot-7 broad jump, did the three-cone drill in 8.26 seconds and the short shuttle in 4.97 seconds. He did not lift, but his arms measured 36 inches.
