Dumervil is a younger version of James Harrison and he is a rush LB. WTBS Tucker is a 3-4 DC that inherited a 4-3 team similar to former Tampa 2 disciple Mike Tomlin who let Dick LaBeau do his thing but, with the Roach departure and the possible Urlacher departure we could be looking at a scheme change by default. Peppers goes to 5 technique and McClellin goes to rush OLB. so picture this: Wooten Melton Peppers upfront, Briggs SMC at OLB, Blake Costanzo and early draft pick inside. The problem is the 3-4 needs more LBs, something were short on. No way we change now. Melton cant play NT, Paea is a better fit for that spot. He had a rough rookie year. So did Jason Pierre Paul. I bet Giants fans wish they would've moved him to OLB! The Broncos asked the league office if it would honor the verbal agreement on the revised contract the team negotiated with Dumervil but the request was denied, according to the newspaper. The paper reported that Smith will look into the matter because Dumervil may have been hurt most by the botched contract exchange. Had the Broncos not released Dumervil before Friday's deadline, his $12 million salary for 2013 would have become guaranteed. According to a source, both Dumervil's reps and the Broncos reached agreement at 3:25 p.m. ET on the restructured contract.
