jason
I kinda doubt they move away from consistently giving him LG help so we won't be able to tell whether he's good regardless. The only thing that will tell us how he has improved is when they don't give him double team help, will he be able to hold his ground or will he continue to get beat? If he woulda came here with Tice still running the line then we'd be able tell more about his progression....Luckily we dont. I'm not sure if we could have determined progression at all with Tice on staff. It's entirely possible his coaching could have hindered progression, and while a player could have actually progressed, the offense would have been retarded and no progression would have been shown. (you've probably already voiced this opinion but I missed it) Long seems to have the higher ceiling and lower floor. With Bushrod, it's lower ceiling, higher floor. And you can't answer, "We should have signed them both!"

Every year the avoidance of attention made me sick. At gunpoint it's probably Long; if uninjured he is still a beast.
