Connorbear
I don't think he is going to get much more anywhere else. Best of luck to Brian in whatever he chooses to do. Peace
Connorbear
Teo? Not with the 20th pick. Maybe if we trade down in the early second round. Peace
Bears4Ever_34
Teo? I doubt it. I'm thinking Ogletree or Arthur Brown. He was the only one in Chicago who guessed Urlacher would be gone? He was the most adamant that they did not want him back. I think there was still a sense of optimism from fans that he would be re-signed. I heard on the radio they offered him a one year 2.5 mil deal and he refused it, so the Bears moved on. Wheres Jason so can here about all that disrespect everybody is giving him. Ed Hochuli 3:16
Here it goes: Urlacher was a clown as a teenager. He acted like an ass off the field but was arguably the most athletic LB to come in the draft in the past 20 years. He grew to be one of my favorite players ever and one of the best Bears ever. Whether he ends up in Minnesota or back home in New Mexico come September, I wish him all the best and can't wait until #54 retired by the organization. When he's inducted into Canton, I might have to drive and see it.
madlithuanian
Sad. But probalby needed for all parties... THank you Brian! You will be missed... Bears4Ever_34
Wonder what would have happened had Major Wright not destroyed Urlacher's knee in the game against the Vikings. Sucks to see an All-Time great go out because of a contract dispute, but it was probably time. Thanks for the memories, 54.

scs787
Sad to see him go but I reckon it's time to move on. Defense has to get younger at some point and I'd say now is the time.
Stinger226
I dont think the new regime wanted him back so they made a offer and wasnt trying to negotiate, he just wanted more money and we wasnt given it to him.
