Trade partners

Since Emery is suppose to be a draft guru and is willing to trade down. Here is a list of draft possibilities: ( Last years draft as of now doesnt look very good but I think he was handcuffed with Lovie in his ear)

SF picks 31

34, 61 74, 93

128, 131c

157, 164 180

222, 237, 246c, 252c With there highest pick being 31 and having a solid roster to begin with I see them trading picks to get a higher quality pick going forward.

I would say 20 for 34-74-128-180. That also works out on the draft trade chart.

Buf 8

41

71

105

143 177 There is dire need of a QB and at #8 that is to high to grab one of them. So I think at 20 they could still get there choice.

I would say 20 for 41-71-143 and a 4th round next year, gives us the draft chart balance.

ARIZONA (7)

7

38

69

103

140

174, 176 They need a QB and I think #7 is too early for a prospect so they will be willing to move up to 20.

I would say 20 for 38-69-174-176 and a 6th next year, according to the draft chart.

MIAMI (11)

12

42, 54

77, 82

111

146, 166c

217, 224, 250c They have to replace a LT,CB, and LBs that they lost in FAgency, so I think they might want to move up to grab a need.

I would say for 20 42-77-146-166-247 that is close to balance on trade chart.

Of all these I think with all the picks SF seems to be the most likely to do the trade. One of the teams needing a QB could hopefully get in a bidding war and we may end up with more.

Stinger, good analysis. I believe that SF would be the most logical trade partner for a bunch of teams. I see them wheeling and dealing often as they would not have the roster space for 14 new players. I see them coming down to 8-10 picks, with probably 2-3 trades, or one monster trade.

For BUF and ARZ, they have so many needs, it is hard for me to see them drafting early in the 1st, then moving up and taking 20 while losing other picks. I would assume they would trade out of the top 10 with someone else looking to move up, then taking their biggest need. Also, from what I have read, ARZ is pretty happy with Stanton at QB. So MIA would be the other logical trade partner since they have 11 picks.

I think past history shows us that when it comes to QB decisions teams make bad choices. Being that position is the most important in all of sports, I think it is possible.

Absolutely, anything is possible, but Arians brought Stanton over from Indy, so I don't think they would trade up to draft a QB. They still will draft one, but I don't see it being in the first few rounds.
