Stinger226
So he's entering his prime years, cool we got a sleeper.(just kidding) a camp body OVERVIEW Moore might not have the most name recognition among the Southern Cal star-studded defense, but he led the Trojans with six sacks in 2008. Moore had flashed as a playmaker earlier in his career, including intercepting two passes as a junior before earning honorable mention All-Pac-10 recognition from league coaches in 2008, his first season as a full-time starter. While not explosive off the edge, Moore has strength and length at the point of attack. He's a solid second-day prospect capable of contributing as a base end. ANALYSIS STRENGTHS Positives: Rare height and wingspan for the position. ... Flashes initial quickness off the snap to pressure the outside shoulder of offensive tackles. ... Good overall playing strength. ... Can get into the tackle's body with his long arms and bull rush. ... Stout at the point of attack when he plays with leverage. ... Can get his hands up and create obstacles for the quarterback to see and pass through. ... Strong tackler and can pull down the ballcarrier with his arms. Negatives: Struggles with leverage and negates his own strength at times. ... Can get pushed back off the line of scrimmage when he plays too high. ... Needs to use his length more to disrupt passes. ... Doesn't bat enough passes down at the line of scrimmage. ... Marginal balance to redirect as a pass rusher or to break down in space to tackle. ... Flashes some speed to the outside, but too inconsistent. ... Had arthroscopic knee surgery prior to the 2008 season that requires a medical check at the Scouting Combine. Looked back at his profile in his draft year. He ran a 4.9 and 22 reps on the benchpress.
adam
He had 3 sacks last year. They were the only 3 sacks of his career. 0.5 more than McClellin and he played in less games.
Stinger226
0.5 more than McClellin and he played in less games. He has been around 5 years though, so not so much as far as developing type player like McC.

scs787
A guy over on soxtalk who's a known Bills fan called him a good scheme fit, saying he's good at rushing the passer but horrible in the run game.....So we just picked up another situational pass rusher. adam
HAHAHAHA. That one burns. At the time of this PFF article, Moore was the 9th most productive pass rusher. https://www.profootballfocus.com/blog/2012/...g-productivity/
