adam
I know this was mentioned before, but here is an updated article about their time in Florida: http://www.suntimes.com/sports/football/be...e-workouts.html Good to hear: When he arrived at Fit Speed, Jeffery weighed in at 225 pounds with a body fat percentage of 11 or 12 percent. When he checked out a few weeks ago, Jeffery weighed 219 pounds with eight percent body fat. Good stuff: Marshall is limited at the Bears’ voluntary workouts. But he and Jeffery will return to the Miami area in mid-June to resume training with Gates until the Bears open training camp in late July. The Fit Speed focus in June and July will be on one thing. “Explosive speed,” Gates said. “And they will do very football-specific [drills]. Bears4Ever_34
That's great to hear! Hope Jeffery can actually put that weight back on in muscle now. I'd like to see him come into camp a little more muscular so he can have his way with defensive backs this year.

From the sounds of it he's had to of put on a good deal of muscle if he dropped around 4% body fat while only losing 6 pounds.
Ed Hochuli 3:16
If you watch the minicamp highlights on the website or on the Bears' app, you can really see the difference in Jeffery's body. He looks very lean.

From the sounds of it he's had to of put on a good deal of muscle if he dropped around 4% body fat while only losing 6 pounds. Even staying the same weight and losing body fat is a pretty big deal. So if he had 12% of 225, that means he was carrying 27 lbs of fat on him, 219 and 8% would bring that down to 17.5. So he essentially burned 9.5 lbs of fat and packed on 3.5 lbs of muscle in 3 weeks. That is a lot.

Bears4Ever_34
Kind of hard to tell from this pic, but this is from minicamp.
Ed Hochuli 3:16
Kind of hard to tell from this pic, but this is from minicamp. To me, he looks leaner. Watch the video if it doesn't look so. Also, has he always had all of those tattoos? It's hard to tell here. http://img.bleacherreport.net/img/images/p...;h=440&q=
adam
College vs last year vs this year Arms look bigger and more defined, and overall he looks like he is in better shape. Looks like he lost fat his rookie year, but now has put on some muscle.
Bears4Ever_34
I can see the change in vascularity. Veins sticking out a little bit more. Definitely added some tattoos over the offseason as well. Maybe a minor difference in arms size. Glad to see him take his training seriously. Hope it continues.
