adam
http://www.usatoday.com/story/sports/nfl/n...hilles/2350547/ I hate to see players get injured, but this will definitely hurt the 49ers, and will have some fantasy impact as well. Maybe Carimi was trying to avoid an injury by not participating, good call mate!
scs787
It'll hurt but I still think they have enough on offense to still be the best team i the NFC, esp. if Boldin performs well there. They still got Boldin, Vernon Davis, Mario Manningham, and then if Vance McDonald and Quinton Patton step up as rookies they could still be dangerous. I have a feeling he will fit in right along with Kaepernick and that high-powered offense. They'll definitely take a small step back without their best receiver, but they can still shred you on the ground just as easily. Maybe Carimi was trying to avoid an injury by not participating, good call mate! If he's still working out on his own, he's probably just as likely to injure himself, especially if it's an achilles. Those things just go.
