Alaskan Grizzly
http://m.espn.go.com/general/blogs/blogpos...amp;src=desktop As Robbie was kicking his second field goal (his 10th in row from 50 or more) my wife commented. "Robbie needs to go over to Hester and say 'how many times have you scored today'? God I love her.

Gould has actually made 12 in a row from 50 yards which ties the NFL record with Blair Walsh on the Vikings. Peace
adam
Gould is pretty special. He should hit 1,000 pts by the end of the season, and if he can stay healthy and play deep into his 30s like other kickers, he has a chance to break into the top 10 all-time for scoring. selection7
We've been pretty lucky with kickers over time. 12 in-a-row from 50+ is amazing! If I remember correctly, his distance used to be an issue and one offseason he fixed that. From then on he's perennially been on the NFL's best. BearFan2000
We are and have been fortunate. Butler for all those years. Jagger for a while, Eddinger who was good early in his career, and now Gould. It's easy to forget that time between letting Jeff Jagger go and desperately searching for a good kicker we trotted out some awful kickers for a while. It's certainly invaluable when you have a kicker who can not only hit from 50+ but consistently so. Those guys are not easy to find. Hope we keep Gould around and he has many more years here in Chicago.

To his credit he worked on improving his leg strength over the years and he has maintained his accuracy. He will still be a Bear next year.
