'TD'
I just hope he doesn't cost the team a game by trying to come back early. He has more motivation to play sooner than anyone with his contract coming up at the end of the year.
Boston Boxer
the real reason he is out with a pull groin is...his wife is prego again. Cutler gave it a little extra and blew out his groin. I am sure it was worth it
Mongo3451
Talk of Cutler coming back early is encouraging, but I'd prefer they error to the side of caution. Let McCown take the reigns a couple more weeks to ensure no lingering issues arise. I'd prefer he come back with a vengeance vs limping in to be tough. Daventry
How many more games will it take for McCown to have with ratings like last week and some QB controversy starts? One has to wonder….
CrackerDog
How many more games will it take for McCown to have with ratings like last week and some QB controversy starts? One has to wonder…. The main reason for that would be that McCown seems like a genuinely nice guy while Cutler is kind of a douche. Cutler has a lot more pure QB talent, clearly, but McCown is looking solid in this system. I think the coaches will need to make a call on Sunday as to whether Jay is really healthy or Jay is trying to come back early just because he wants the big contract and doesn't want anyone stealing his thunder. I'm pretty sure this staff will make the right call, one way or the other.
BearFan2000
as well as McCown has been playing I think the Bears can afford to allow Cutler to be fully 100% healed and don't need to rush him back. Unlike the Packers who are screwed till Rodgers returns.
