Hey hey I win my first ever game thread, I got dibs next week too.

Jay was making me regret backing him in the first half but overall all I thought he was good, and obviously good enough. I'll take completing 71% against a good defensive team.

Now C'mon Ravens....Also C'mon Dallas, if the Pack lose they might end up sitting Rodgers the rest of the season.

Also, shout out to the defense, specifically Jay Ratliff who got 3 QB hits on the day. If he continues playing at this level and Briggs returns the defense could become "Good enough" for the offense to beat anyone.

Perhaps you should make the game threads the rest of the season. That first half was ugly, and he did turn it around and play better in the second half. We got a critical win. We need to win out. Next we we face an Eagles team who today got embarrassed by a Vikings team and their third string RB that no one's heard of. Wins are becoming huge for the Eagles especially if the Cowboys win today. We're going to face a hungry team in Philly.

It's been already commented on, but the offense under McCown seems to flow much better; he's not afraid to look to the other options in his progressions. What is interesting to me is that McCown appears to have completely embrace the philosophy. Cutler has been around and executing it just as long and under his command it just looks ragged and choppy. He can't seem to get it in his head that Marshall does not have to be the primary option each and every play. I enjoyed the offense under McCown, the swing passes to Forte were a thing of beauty. I don't think I am as solidly in Cutler's corner as I once was.

I hope it's just rust, but somehow McCown came in and looked comfortable from the first play in Washington - and only improved. Cutler had a couple of hard throws but that TD to Alshon was all Jeffery and could've easily been another INT. It really did not even look like the same offense, just very clunky.

lulz Matt Flynn just wrecked the Dallas D. 3 of their last 4 halves the offense hasn't had to punt against that D....They make our D look good.

Yeah that sets up for a crazy Week 17 game that could decide the North. If Detroit loses, both us and GB win next week, it would be:

CHI 9-6 vs GB 8-6-1 with DET 8-7 playing MIN. DET would be eliminated as the best they could finish is 9-7 and the winner of the CHI/GB game would be at worst 9-6-1. Talk about a defining game.

Now obviously a lot needs to happen between tomorrow and next weekend (DET loses tomorrow, all 3 teams win next week). GB has won their last 2 games by a total of 2 pts. NFL is crazy.

There really is no easy route to the playoffs for the Bears. They are going to have to earn every bit of it to get in. They could potentially be playing for the division next Sunday against Philly if Detroit loses their next two and GB loses to Pittsburgh, but the chances of that happening are slim. Not to mention the Bears would have to beat the Eagles as well to clinch in that situation, which is no given either.

If Detroit wins tomorrow night, I think they win out. I don't see them losing more than 1 game the rest of the season, and I think their best chance for that one loss is against Baltimore tomorrow. I think they have NY and MIN coming up after that.

That is what I see as well, McCown really reminds me of Gannon, I think right now he is the better option…..long-term is going to be interesting to see.

A agree the offense just looks smother with Josh, it looks rough with Jay. They both get results but when Jays in there I feel like I'm waiting for something bad to happen, and hoping something good happens. However when Josh's been in there I feel like good things will happen. And maybe with a week of practice and Jay will look better.
