bowlingtwig
Reports say Jeff Redford will be o cord and Frazier will run the D and JA could join to run the personnel dept lol

bowlingtwig
good luck with all of that Not sure what to think about tedford. He's never been in NFL. Frazier is solid as DC but JA shouldn't be anywhere near personnel
bowlingtwig
Schefter is reporting the DC will be marinelli. Not Frazier
scs787
I don't know what to think about Tedford either....He gets "credit" for "grooming" Aaron Rodgers but that's pretty much it.
Alaskan Grizzly
Not sure what to think about tedford. He's never been in NFL. Neither was Chip Kelly. One thing I'll be interested in seeing are how many current Bears players end up on TB.

I am sure this will be one of Peanuts options that he spoke of, also would not be surprised if Melton went as well.
ASHKUM BEAR
I am sure this will be one of Peanuts options that he spoke of, also would not be surprised if Melton went as well. Maybe even Briggs goes for the right price, Emery has said he would like Bostic to play OLB next season.
balta1701-A
Maybe even Briggs goes for the right price, Emery has said he would like Bostic to play OLB next season. That makes a whole lot of sense.
balta1701-A
Compared to where they were this does probably make them a better team but they're in a tough division right now until Brees retires or gets old.
Alaskan Grizzly
Who knows, maybe Urlacher becomes an LB coach ? Just sayin

Wouldn't surprise me if the Bucs beat the Bears into the Superbowl. Lovie wasn't perfect but Trestman sure as hell isn't either. And Lovie's teams not only play D, they believe in ST's as well. This'll be interesting...
madlithuanian
Hopefully a lot. Too many are too old... The only one I'd miss is Peanut. Which would sadly be the likely candidate. Neither was Chip Kelly. One thing I'll be interested in seeing are how many current Bears players end up on TB.
madlithuanian
They already have...under Chucky. (just counting since 85) And they won't beat us there. Too much talent in the NFC... Let's give Trestman more than a season to see how he stacks up to Smith. He may be the same, worse...or better. I eagerly await. Wouldn't surprise me if the Bucs beat the Bears into the Superbowl. Lovie wasn't perfect but Trestman sure as hell isn't either. And Lovie's teams not only play D, they believe in ST's as well. This'll be interesting... jason
As long as the current Bears offense is on the field, I'm not worried. Lovie Smith coached teams stop trying to score on offense after getting about 21.
madlithuanian
For Smith? Can't see it. He doesn't appear to have the demeanor for coaching. So-so players tend to make better coaches than great players. Most coaches go right into it because they can't get it out of their system, and they weren't stars. I don't recall many taking cushy stints on TV to go back. Unless the way they got the tv jo was becasue they were a former coach. Who knows, maybe Urlacher becomes an LB coach ? Just sayin
madlithuanian
But I could see him coming bak as a player for him. That has more potential I think. Who knows, maybe Urlacher becomes an LB coach ? Just sayin

Bears4Ever_34
mediocre hire for Tampa. Not a bad hire, not a good hire. They will be what the Bears were for years-- The epitome of average. Lovie needed to go to a team with an established QB, and an offense that already had it going like Detroit.
