scs787
Someone posted this over on soxtalk, and although the results came out pretty silly (Clowney fell to 14) it's still a fun little tool to pass time.... http://fanspeak.com/ontheclock/ I got..... 1R- Louis Nix III DT- Big hoss who is gonna demand double teams which makes the rest of the DL and LBs jobs easier. 2R- Craig Loston SS- Draws comps to last years LSU safety Eric Reid...Obvious need 3R- Jackson Jeffcoat DE- A DE that racked up 80 tackles has got to be good against the run. 4R- Dion Bailey FS- I was gonna add a point about adding a FS in FA but with Bailey here I say fug it, they should be better than what they have. 5R- Deion Belue CB- Depth/Prospect at CB 6R- Russell Bodine OC- Sounds like they want Garza back, here's someone to groom behind him 6R- Marcel Jensen TE- Depth behind MartyB is pretty bad. Jensen would be an intriguing 6R pick Add a versatile veteran safety to compete with the 2 rooks. Resign Anderson and Williams to compete with last years rooks. Resign Ratliff to play next to Nix (I wanta get big up front). Sign Micheal Bennett (releasing Peppers).

I am on board with the return of our linebackers and letting Peppers go. With Cutler's cap hit, as we understand it today, Julius cannot be afforded and Peanut is probably no longer in the picture. scs787
In case you didn't click on the link, it's actually a draft simulator where you get to draft your own....It"s fun stuff, I just did another based on the Bears moving to a 3-4.... 1R- CJ Mosely ILB- The LB core would be Briggs-Bostic-Mosely-SMC 2R- Ra'Shede Hageman DE/DT- Probably a little unrealistic, but I think he could play either NT or DE if they wanna use Ratliff at NT. 3R- E.J. Gaines CB- Tillman doesn't have the speed to play in a 3-4 so he either moves to FS or gets the boot, sadly. Gaines has 4.4 speed 4R- Dion Bailey FS- No brainer here again. 5R- Ryan Carrethers NT- Another NT option. Said to be one of the strongest guys in college, and he comes with a big 330lb frame. 6R- Jimmie Ward SS- Another pick that is perhaps a little unrealistic but meh. 6R- Marcel Jensen TE- Again Jensen is itriguing because 2 years ago he was pretty darn good, then Fresno switched offense and TE wasn't utilized. Once again I'd bring in a veteran safety to compete with the rooks, maybe 1 or 2 older guys who are looking for a 1 year deals. Bring back Melton and Ratliff to go with Melton-Ratliff-Hageman as your 3 down lineman.
