.@DanWiederer reports #Bears closing in on a contract for LB D.J. Williams to return. http://bit.ly/1h7u6by

More than likely another vet min deal, or near it. Believe he played for a mill last year, probably gets less after another injury plagued season.

Would provide nice competition to Bostic and SMD (Greene as well I suppose). I still expect 2 of those 3 to be the starters.

****EDIT*** Done deal, details later.

D.J. is the MLB and the others get the SLB to fight over.

Biggs reported the other day we signed him for 1.25 last season. Same as James Anderson.

When he was healthy, he was head and shoulders better than Bostic.

I expect it to be Shea, Briggs, and Williams at LB on opening day.

We are rumored to not have any interest in James Anderson. Since we have a first round draft pick taking his job . . .

Wait... u are referring to McClellin? My god

I'm just throwing this in here because it's a discussion about LBs.

Rolando McClain, if healthy and motivated, could be a supreme talent at a severely discounted price. Might be worth kicking the tires on a try out.

Ravens still have the rights. But I would take a swing at him. If the dude has his head on right he could be a beast

I agree, he's worth looking at but have to wait and see what Baltimore does with him. From a talent standpoint he's outstanding on the field.
