scs787
Brad Biggs @BradBiggs 9m .@DanWiederer reports #Bears closing in on a contract for LB D.J. Williams to return. http://bit.ly/1h7u6by More than likely another vet min deal, or near it. Believe he played for a mill last year, probably gets less after another injury plagued season. Would provide nice competition to Bostic and SMD (Greene as well I suppose). I still expect 2 of those 3 to be the starters. ****EDIT*** Done deal, details later. Same as James Anderson. When he was healthy, he was head and shoulders better than Bostic. I expect it to be Shea, Briggs, and Williams at LB on opening day. jason
I'm just throwing this in here because it's a discussion about LBs. http://espn.go.com/nfl/story/_/id/10586753...es-nfl-comeback Rolando McClain, if healthy and motivated, could be a supreme talent at a severely discounted price. Might be worth kicking the tires on a try out.
scs787
Supposedly it's a done deal... Dane Noble @WindyCGridiron 22s DJ Williams didn't initially sign 1-year offer from #Bears. A day later, he does. Others now reporting it as well.

If the dude has his head on right he could be a beast

scs787
DJs cap hit is 1.2m...Thought he'd snag a vet min deal. If the plans for him to start, which it sounds like it, I don't mind it.
