If Emery can get two playermakers on D in the first two rounds I think the D could be a lot better.

Chicago Bears @ChicagoBears ·4m LM: #Bears have retained veteran OL Eben Britton, who has agreed to a 1-year contract. Don't forget that when Jordan Mills went out early in the last game of the season, Britton took his spot and looked good. It's always nice having veterans adding depth because you can't trust rookies. Good signing and I'm sure it was for the minimum.
AZ54
I think Britton has realized that working with Kromer is going to be good for his career long term. According to his (Britton's) words last year, in terms of technique he was not very good when he was with the Jaguars. He looked slow and unsure of what to do at times last year. Maybe a year later he'll be a step better.
AZ54
http://espn.go.com/blog/chicago/bears/post...draft-questions http://www.chicagobears.com/team/roster.html It's the offseason so it's hard to decipher what coaches are doing with players. Britton re-signed and now he is listed as an OG. Meanwhile James Brown who was kicked inside from T to G is now back listed as a OT. From an athletic standpoint Britton looked a bit slow on the edge so perhaps he's a better fit inside. We'll see how it plays out but it appears there has been a slight shuffling of the line this offseason. For sure we're going to add at least one more guy to the mix, if not two. Although Brown was drafted as a tackle and switched to guard. Britton played some guard in pre-season last year.
Stinger226
Weird. Although Brown was drafted as a tackle and switched to guard. Britton played some guard in pre-season last year. I think the possibility exists that Slausson goes to center after Garza is done. Brown to LG, not sure he has been getting better. Britton could very well play that LG spot when the switch is made. If we do that it gives a savoy vet to lead the OL. I would say we add a versatile rookie that could play OG or OT to give us the flexibility to do some of those previous mentioned items.
